Description

This is at the time of posting my favourite deck to play.

My usual play is (hopefully a turn one Arboreal Grazerimage) into Dragon's Hoardimage or Dragonspeaker Shamanimage into Rapacious Dragonimage into anything.
For some reason opponents rarely remove Dragonspeaker Shamanimage.

If you have both Dragonspeaker Shamanimage and Dragon's Hoardimage in hand, as long as Dragon's Hoardimage won't slow your play, you should always prioritize it over Dragonspeaker Shamanimage. This won't slow down your most important play (turn 3/4 Terror of the Peaksimage or Rapacious Dragonimage).
Dragon's Hoardimage's card draw is good to have as soon as possible, and as it's an artifact it's harder to remove than Dragonspeaker Shamanimage.

One very powerful combo in this deck is Lathliss, Dragon Queenimage into Terror of the Peaksimage.
In some cases this can be done by turn 5 and it drastically affects board state, as the Terror of the Peaksimage will deal 5 damage to any target for the token that Lathliss, Dragon Queenimage creates.

Sarkhan the Masterlessimage, and to a lesser extent Klothys, God of Destinyimage and Arboreal Grazerimage can provide protection from aggro decks.

Keep in mind that without the required devotion, Klothys, God of Destinyimage isn't a creature and won't trigger the ability of Terror of the Peaksimage when entering the battlefield.

In games that run long, especcialy when you're up against boardwipes, Dragon's Hoardimage is your best friend.
However, there are matches where it just sits in your hand.

For wild card reasons I'm not running as many copies of some cards (Terror of the Peaksimage for example) as I'd like.
If wildcards (or money/trading for paper players) are no issue for you, you should probably run some Dragonmaster Outcastimages.

It might be worth experimenting with additional sac lands to more consistently provide mana with Klothys, God of Destinyimage.

I have a positive winrate with the current deck composition, but i might try to make some changes (maybe remove Dragon's Hoardimage or a Spit Flameimage in favor of some cheap ramp cards) for better tempo.

I might ditch the Dragonspeaker Shamanimages in favor of some more all-round ramp cards, which might make Verix Bladewingimage or Drakuseth, Maw of Flamesimage less viable, but will probably improve the deck's overall reliability.

The deck used to include Sarkhan's Unsealingimage, which won me a lot of games, but was also sometimes too expensive. Might be viable in a more ramp oriented variation.

I'm still figuring out how Domri, Chaos Bringerimage performs in this deck, sofar (about four games playing it), the card has been useful.

About Thijs

All my decks are made from scratch by me.

Usually I upload decks shortly after making them, so I tend to edit them after uploading.

Most of the time I play in platinum on Arena, using mostly decks I uploaded here.

I dislike playing meta decks, especially ones with little interactivity.

Any suggestions or criticism about my decks are appreciated.

I'm currently experimenting with Pillar of Origins for ramp and Flame sweep against wide and/or aggro decks. (though i might go for one of the Amonkhet boardwipes instead)
Also Glorybringer seems great and has an (almost) immediate effect. It looks to be a more mana friendly version of Drakuseth.

I'm still quite successful with this deck, maybe it's a timezone thing? (different places, different deck preferences)

I'd like to read if you find something that works for you.

You might try to add some Dragon's Hoards if you have them, they provide card draw to keep you going.
I'm considering cutting Drakuseth, as it's a bit underwhelming without haste. It's in my deck as a holdover from when i still ran Sarkhan's Unsealing.
Maybe add 3 mana Domri or another ramp oriented planeswalker. It speeds up the deck and pairs well with Sarkhan.
A planeswalker comes with the added benefit of opponents attacking it when they should be attacking you, which might buy some time.

Pretty much everything haha. It just seems 2 slow for the format. I cant get going till its 2 late and if anything gets cleared off the board I can never catch back up. I love the idea and concept so I will keep trying to mess with it.

Too bad. I'm still doing quite good with it, though I'm not playing ranked lately. Though i have been losing to some [[Nine Lives]] shenanigans lately. Maybe stick some anti enchantment cards in there.
What are the decks you've been losing to?

10 games in and not even come close to a win. Hummm maybe I just have bad luck...
