Description

Zombies are back! In this rotation-proof decklist (Minus [[Drowned Catacomb]]) you will find a most terrifying mechanic, no not amass but Hexproof! Yep we will be amass-ing a horde of untouchable zombies, on top of that the menacing creatures can also learn to fly!!

The goal of this deck is simple, amass a large army then use [[Quasiduplicate]] onto [[Gleaming Overseer]] to create a situation where the amassed army can never be targeted. Slap down an [[Eternal Skylord]] and you have yourself a very evasive horde of corpses. 

[[Dreadhorde Invasion]] Value generator, also provides consistent pressure and in the late-game it gives lifelink to your army. [[Lazotep Plating]] keeps you and your precious zombies from getting burned down right away while also bolstering your forces. [[Tyrant's Scorn]] keeps most early game threats in check and provides protection to your zombie overlords in the late-game from sweepers. It can also bump a troublesome creature back to the opponents hand.

[[Stealth Mission]] gives any creature an easy shot into a pesky planeswalker or a surprise lethal when you don't have flying or menace. [[Spark Double]] continues to impress me with its shenanigans, be it coming in as a copy of one of your zombie overlords (also do not copy a token, it will come in as a 1/1 normal Zombie NOT A TOKEN) or coming in as one of the two great planeswalkers that are used in the deck.

Speaking of planeswalkers, [[Mu Yanling, Sky Dancer]] is a spectacular card that puts a clock on the game very early on, she puts out an immense amount of pressure that demands removal, 90% of the time she will be at least a 4/4 flyer for 3 mana which is all we need her to do in this deck because our goal is the mid to late-game where we can create huge armies. If the opponent can't deal with her she will snowball the game creating tons of 4/4 fliers or hitting her ult which gives you an almost insurmountable card advantage. Watch out for shocks from red decks though.

[[Liliana, Dreadhorde General]] Complements [[Mu Yanling, Sky Dancer]] aesthetically and in terms of playstyle. [[Liliana, Dreadhorde General]] is a lategame bomb that controls the board and provides card draw, her +1 creates all sorts of problems when all those 2/2's have menace, hexproof, or flying. 

[[Commence the Endgame]] is a good card in the grind matchups where you might not be playing a lot of cards, it also works around counterspells which is great aganist all those [[Frilled Mystic]] and control decks.

[[Drawn from Dreams]] may just be a auto include in most blue decks, picking two cards from the top seven in your deck gives you so much more control over your gameplan, it also works around [[Narset, Parter of Veils]]. 

[[Enter the God-Eternals]] functions primarly as removal, but it also has that juicy amass 4 tacked on so that feels nice, plus it always feels so good to see something like a Teferi hit the grave when you force your opponent to mill.

Ok it's finally time to talk about [[Quasiduplicate]] this card makes the deck work, when it hits [[Gleaming Overseer]] it creates a creature token that gives itself and all other zombie tokens hexproof, all for a 6 mana combo. Even hitting a [[Eternal Skylord]] with it is great value because that is a 5 mana card being cast for 3, even if it is in a roundabout way. 

Lastly lets cover the secret MVP of this deck [[Soul Diviner]] not only is the diviner a great earlygame body it also can trade your amassed tokens for cards in hand if you are in a pinch. It bridges the weak earlygame into the midgame where we excel. 

Overall I think this deck has some potential to be pretty good, I just created it about 2 hours ago so I haven't been able to extensively playtest it like I have with most of my other decks but it is really fun to play and I wanted to share it with the world.
