Description

Greetings friends!

I have a spicy brew for you today showcasing many new cards from M20. Our deck abuses the powerful ramping ability of Lotus Field in two colors that generally don't have ramp RW. The game plan is to play Bought Back on the two lands sacrificed with Lotus Field setting up for 6 mana on turn 4. If our plan works then we are set to cast Haphazard Bombardment, The Immortal Sun or one our six Cavaliers on turn 4.

Now having Brought Back and Lotus Field won't happen every game so we have a full suite of 4x Deafening Clarion and 2x Cleansing Nova. This helps manage aggressive decks and gives us time to play our sweet cards. Concerned about planeswalkers in this post-WAR meta? The Immortal Sun, Cavalier of Dawn, and the dying trigger on Cavalier of Flame all keep planeswalkers in check. Haphazard Bombardment could be used to kill planeswalkers as well, but generally you want to bombard opponents' lands.

Some things to note:
Generally Cavalier of Dawn will blow up opponents stuff, but it can blow up ANY nonland permanent. If you need a 3/3 or want to blow up a Bombardment, Cavalier of Dawn can do that.
Deafening Clarion kills 0 of our creatures so make sure to use both modes when casting to get that lifelink. You will gain TONS of life from Cavalier of Flame if it dies with lifelink.
Tormenting Voice and Neheb help by throwing lands in your graveyard and filtering.
Using Brought Back on one permanent is OK, especially if it is after an opponent destroys The Immortal Sun or Haphazard Bombardment.
Lotus Field has hexproof. No need to worry about Field of Ruin or Assassin's Trophy hitting this land.

This deck is built with the Bo1 meta in mind, but can easily be adapted for Bo3. Our worst enemy will be Thought Erasure so more aggressive sideboard creatures and a suite of threats would be good to have.
