Love this deck just took out the Punches for 2 maximum velocities and 1 more chart a course

I took this exact build to my FMN. Lost 1-4 total, and the one win was because they kept missing their land drops. However, every match was SO CLOSE!!! I had punch in my hand and dragonauts out, I was ready to do 14 damage many times, but just couldn't edge out the final damage.
Beware of sorceries, multiple times I went to combat ready to blow out and realized I couldn't. Run Amok is only while attacking, so you can't use it to buff through removal. I recommend Max. Velocity vs Altitude.

I replaced the sirens with electromancer and its worked out pretty well

I'm enjoying this deck but looking to upgrade it with some of the rares I happen to have. I've already got one each of Niv-Mizzet, Parun, Ral, Izzet Viceroy, and Expansion // Explosion, and I'm wondering if any of these might shore up the deck in longer games against control decks. If so, what cards would you recommend pulling out to put these in? Any other suggestions for making the deck more versatile?

How about Maximize Velocity instead of the Gravitic Punch?

Still piecing this together since I've been burning through wildcards but it is incredibly fun when it goes off. Lots of damage out of nowhere.

Yeah i get that but punch costs 4 mana. This deck can finish in round 4-5 with Thud only costing one mana its the perfect finisher and increases its tempo even more. I haven't played the deck yet but i will try both variants to see how it plays. Gravitic Punch doesn't rly fit the deck imo.

Beamsplitter Mage will only copy spells with a single target, it's not specifically just one creature target. Because it targets the player also, Gravitic Punch won't copy. Thud seems reasonable but at that point, punch would be better considering Thud won't copy either and you keep your dude.
Leats
If what MarcusLopez said is true the perfect card to switch it for would be "Thud". After attacking you can hit him for some additional damage that way.
MarcusLopez
Not sure if it matters to you but Gravitic Punch will not copy when casted targeting Beamsplitter Mage. Gravitic Punch has more than one target.
