Clever Standard Decks Featuring Phyrexia: All Will Be One
Toxic may have been the most hyped theme of Phyrexia: All Will Be One, but the set also shares a lot of new cards not particularly leaning toward any specific archetype. We have listed some of the interesting decks using them in Standard over the last few weeks, featuring interesting synergies that are bound to (maybe) strike your opponents with immediate awe.
Too much blue in this list you say? Nah, it’s just your imagination.
Naya Mondrak Tokens
Given that Mondrak, Glory Dominus does not restrict the type of token being generated, the possibilities are virtually endless. For this version of the Mondrak build, there is a fair combination of different triggers, including our venerable Fable of the Mirror-Breaker // Reflection of Kiki-Jiki. But the funniest would probably have to be Stimulus Package and Gala Greeters, which leads to some cumulative shenanigans when left unchecked.

Mindsplice Build
Mindsplice Apparatus on its own seems a very underwhelming card, virtually offering nothing at turn four, and gets easily countered by the likes of Abrade. Survive for the next two turns, however, and it can potentially snowball into a massive mana generator for any X-cost spells that you can jam into the deck. Of course, it is best combo-ed with variable mana cards that would be effective on their own anyway, such as the Sun’s Twilight cycle.

Dimir Proliferate Planeswalker Control
This deck goes for the expected methodical ways of Dimir control with a twist: non-combat poison counters. It is not, however, the primary win condition, despite the name of the deck. Rather it uses several alternative strategies, whether it's going to be a traditional KO, absolute corruption, or just breaking your opposing planeswalker's mind. It also keeps in mind that advantage also takes the form of reaping as many rewards (triggers, targets, etc.) as you possibly can out of a single resolving effect.

Mono Blue Tempo
Jace, the Perfected Mind never really mentions any player targeting restrictions, so why not use it for your own? This deck takes the classic Haughty Djinn + Tolarian Terror and slaps our Phyrexian Mind Sculptor to do the dirty milling work. With an effective combination of other midrange cards, it actually works quite well, enabling the deck to maximize all of Completed Jace’s loyalty abilities.

Gift a Daemon
The good thing about Archfiend of the Dross, is that it either successfully does its job, or is removed as soon as possible by the opponent. So its demonic pact on you generally never occurs. But if the game did drag on for that scenario to turn up, you can at least count on Fateful Handoff to give the loss instead to your opponent. Might not be the meta mono-black deck you are counting on, but it’s definitely a fun treat to see it take-off.
