This budget-friendly red artifact deck is perfect for players looking to experience the exciting Red Deck Wins (RDW) play style. With a remarkably low mana curve, the deck is simple to play, making it an ideal option for both novice and seasoned players alike. The lack of mythic rares and minimal use of rares make this deck incredibly easy to build and customize, with sideboard options available to replace any necessary cards. Additionally, the deck offers an engaging and unique playing experience, boasting a variety of interactions and synergies that set it apart from the standard red deck.
The Creatures:
Patchwork Automaton is a key threat in this deck which tends to draw significant attention from your opponents. With ward 2, the creature enjoys excellent early protection, which becomes even better once it gains additional +1/+1 counters. Fortunately, other creatures in your deck can help with that.
Hexgold Halberd and Rabbit Battery are highly useful cheap artifact creatures that add a lot to the game with their equipting abilities. By adding haste or Trample to your Patchwork Automaton, you can make a massive difference in battle or even secure a lethal strike.
Reinforced Ronin is a valuable addition to your deck, as it acts as an "enters the battlefield" trigger for both the Patchwork Automaton and the Dragonspark Reactor. Although this creature has a drawback, it can also be its greatest strength, as it makes sorcery-speed removal completely ineffective. Plus, the channel ability can offer a glimmer of hope when things look dire.
The Spells:
Mishra's Research Desk and Experimental Synthesizer are both valuable tools to draw more threats when your hand is light. The latter can even give you an additional body on the field, which can prove quite useful. Be sure to cast these spells or activate them before playing a land on your turn, especially in the case of the Synthesizer, as the exiled card disappears the same turn.
Your burn spells include Play with Fire, Voltage Surge, Kami's Flare, and Lightning Strike. While you can adjust the quantities as needed, the amounts I have listed here have worked well for me. I have gone back and forth between using Kami or Lightning Strike, as Kami has better value when you have a modified creature out, but Lightning Strike is more dependable and can target players directly.
The Other Stuff:
Dragonspark Reactor is the namesake card of this deck for a reason, building up with nearly every casting and once you have the 4 mana to trigger it, it’s usually game over. This card hits a creature as well, which can open the field for a lethal attack especially when combo’d with our next card.
High-Speed Hoverbike can really come through in a pinch as it can tap your opponent's big hitter, letting you sneak in a big hit or just stall for an extra turn when needed. Also, a 2/2 flyer can come in really handy, particularly when modified with double strike or a 4/4 with our next spell.
Kumano Faces Kakkazan // Etching of Kumano is the most solid 1st drop you have as it has great value overall. The 2/2 it gives you is a great body on the field, and its exile ability can really stack well with removing nasty threats with burn spells.
The Game plan:
Every single point of damage can make all the difference.
The strategy here is simple: go for the jugular and reduce your opponent's life total to zero as quickly as possible. Red decks may not be known for their complexity, but they are notorious for their speed and efficiency. To achieve victory, your top priority should always be to activate Dragonspark Reactor as soon as possible. If you suspect it might be removed, make sure to keep some mana open to respond accordingly. And don't forget to take every opportunity to deal damage, especially with the help of your trusty companion, Reinforced Ronin. I've been achieving a solid 60%-70% win rate with this deck, making it an excellent choice for daily grinds that require minimal investment in terms of both cards and time.

Update 1: Swaped out Reckless Impulse for Mishra's Research Desk as I think the desk has better synergy with the deck, but I do worry about only getting the one card as opposed to two cards, so might switch back down the road. Added more sideboard cards as options, and mainboarded Hexgold Halberd for the trample. With that change it make it completly budget friendly, though still like Lizard Blades more in that slot.
Use the sidboarded lands if you got them, I would go one of each personally.
