Commander - Brago, Temporally Infinite

This deck never dies.  I swear.  Unless you yolo and get mana screwed, you are likely to be the last player standing, and will probably win due to getting infinite turns.  That being said...

This deck is purpose built, and is all/only about setting up for infinite turns via Brago flickering one of many cards that can return an instant and/or sorcery from your graveyard, then use one of the Time Warp type cards on every turn, bringing it back to cast it the next turn, etc.  This is supported by a range of counterspells that can likewise be returned from your grave, plus a bunch of brick cards to lock up or exile problematic cards, or destroy them.  Lots of draw that gets you 2+ cards per, and is mostly repeatable, plus lots of search cards to help put the puzzle pieces together.  I tried to include enough grave recursion to rebound from hate and board wipes, plus some anti-wipe cards like Flawless Maneuver.  Ideally, you find yourself with Flawless Maneuver and Mana Drain/Fierce Guardianship in hand, with Brago and The Mirari Conjecture/etc on the board, all in support of abusing Time Warp/etc, accompanied by one of the various included options to make Brago unblockable, if needed (this deck usually wins late in the game, when/where blockers can accumulate, so making him unblockable matters).

Once you go infinite you still have to win.  Sure, most of the time it will result in opponents scooping, but occasionally someone will make you 'prove it'.  So for this scenario there are the aforementioned bricks to remove obstacles, and a handful of bigger, more expensive creatures that either exile or destroy multiple targets, or bring back multiple, and swing for 5+ damage, which should help accelerate your sprint to the finish line.

I also need to clarify that the four Zendikar Rising flip cards are primarily intended to be used as land, unless enough land is on the battlefield already.  So I count them as lands in my deck (making it 34 total) that also have the option of being used for secondary purposes if the game allows it.  That being said, each has turned out to be quite valuable in game play so far, especially when there are lots of ways to get them back from your grave, regardless of whether they went there as a spell or land.  Plus, the three bounce lands in the deck allow you to play the ZR flip cards as a land early in the game, then bounce them back to your hand later and cast as a spell.  They're fun cards in this deck!

There are cards that resonate well with Brago that I chose not to include, like Conjurer's Closet, Yorion, and Thassa, Deep-Dwelling, because their added flickers are not really benefitting the exact cards in this deck.  For a creature-themed Brago deck, where most flicker targets net you extra creatures, then cards like Yorion, Sky Nomad or Flickerwisp make tons more sense.  Bringing back instants and sorceries are key to this deck winning, and yes, stuff like Archaeomancer needs to flicker twice in order to bring back both a Time Warp and a Counterspell, or a Counterspell and a Flawless Maneuver, but you can also survive fairly well on just one counterspell that you can get back every turn, while you put together the rest of your recurring hand to go infinite.

It should also be noted that sagas get to trigger both lore 1 and lore 2 each turn if you flicker them every turn... lore 1 after the flicker, lore 2 at the beginning of the next turn.  So Mirari Conjecture is a pretty cost-effective way to return an instant and sorcery to your hand every turn.  Also, Brago makes a saga like Fall of the Thran just downright punishing, locking out pretty much any spell that costs 4cc or more, at least until you're ready to remove the road block (although I prefer Fall of the Thran in a creature-based Brago theme).

The decklist reflects what I have in hand, which will evolve as I acquire desired cards... hence a bunch of expensive cards in the Maybeboard.

Brago gets infinite flicker-triggers with Strionic Resonator/Lithoform Engine and any of Peregrine Drake, Could of Faeries, or Treachery (any permanent that untaps 2+ lands).  When Brago attacks unblocked, the initial flicker trigger goes on the stack, then you tap two lands and Strionic Resonator to copy the trigger, which then goes on the stack.  You let it resolve and flicker the Resonator and one of your three cards that untap your two lands, and when that ETB's you untap your lands and pay to tap the Resonator again to copy the remaining Brago trigger on the stack.  Rinse and repeat, but hopefully also throw in a bunch of other cards with cool ETB triggers, of course.  You can do the same with a mana rock that taps for 2+ mana, and if you can tap for 3+ you also get infinite mana.
