Deck Tech: Aims to control the game with counterspells, board wipes, and card advantage. Plays like Bant Ramp, minus the ramp, basically. The Charming Prince
is a spicy one-of to flicker Yorion, Sky which can flicker Elspeth Conquers Death
, Omen of the Sea
, etc. Shark Typhoon
closes out the game faster than you'd expect, even with just a 5/5 Shark. You don't have to hard cast this card most of the time; it also helps deal with a Teferi, Time Raveler
or any other planeswalker by cycling it EoT(End of Turn).
Sideboard Tech: Our sideboard is mostly dedicated toward Jeskai Yorion, Sky and aggro in general. The extra Time Wipe
and Glass Casket
s help prevent us from losing instantly to a fast start from aggro. Dovin's Veto
helps us combat Teferi, Time Raveler and other threatening cards like Elspeth Conquers Death.
