Learn more Download For WindowsFor a card that never sees the light of day, is surprisingly entertaining and versatile in this Orzhov Alchemy deck. Hopefully, the September 2022 Rotation will see a replacement card when it is relegated to Historic.
First of all, the Runestone works incredibly well with Fragment Reality; it is surprisingly satisfying to exile a fully shielded Titan of Industry using only one mana at instant speed on their turn.
Even more satisfying is locking down cards that manipulate graveyards and libraries like no tomorrow, such as Tasha, Unholy Archmage or Elspeth Resplendent. Finally, say goodbye to reanimate such as Graveyard Shift, Edgar’s Awakening, or Cleric Class – the Runestone keeps dead creatures in the grave where they belong. Yup, you can also say goodbye to disturb(ing) creatures like Lunarch Veteran // Luminous Phantom, Faithbound Judge // Sinner's Judgment, and Katilda, Dawnhart Martyr // Katilda's Rising Dawn.
