So just a basic little Lifelink focused deck, utilising Vigilance and Kaheera as a bonus with a few of our furry friends.
Ideally you want to try and get Daxos, Blessed by the Sun
and/or Impassioned Orator
down with plain lands, in anticipation of getting Ajani Pridemate, Bloodthirsty Aerialist
and/or Twinblade Paladin
out. The triggers from Daxos and Impassioned Orator buff all three aforementioned creatures when they enter the battlefield, or when another creature does additionally. Daxos is extra special because we still get life gain when something dies too.
Heliod, Sun-Crowned
adds insult to injury, allowing you to add +1/+1 each time you gain life, as well as giving any creature lifelink as well (it kinda serves its own combo). We also have Archon of Sun's Grace
to provide further aerial support and lifelink, and if you happen to cast on of the enchantments in the deck it can trigger constellation to get another pegasus to enter (potentially triggering all you little friends depending on what you have out).
Snapdax, Apex of the Hunt
can be used as removal to low toughness enemies as well as life gain, and Keensight Mentor
can give one of your creatures Vigilance on entry as well. Kaheera, the Orphanguard
will give you additional vigilance to our cat friends, and then a swift tap of KSM can provide additional +1/+1 to everything that has vigilance!
Lurrus of the Dream Den can revive our Daxos, Impassioned Orator's, Pridemates or even Savannah Sage
, which gives us two life on entry (Do you see the pattern yet?). If Lurrus dies, you can potentially get it back if you mutate with Necropanther
, but there is only one in the deck so it will probably not happen.
Finally, we have Linden, the Steadfast Queen
to provide us +1 health each time a white creature attacks. If the board state is favourable to you, this card will steamroll you to victory.
Side note: Utilise the ordering of card play to maximise the +1/+1 counter service you get from certain events happening each turn. Place your life gain lands after you play your creatures most importantly!
