This is deck is for AliasV's Random Card Jank Comptetition focused on a playset of Rising Populace
, Salvager of Ruin
, and Tectonic Giant
. This deck is a combo deck that is focused on Fling
ing a giant Populace at your opponent' s face. How? Well, thats really quite simple.
If we can get Salvager of Ruin to cost nothing, then two of them generate a loop that can put counters on Rising Populace, but how? Well, Ugin, The Ineffiable helps cut the cost down to a single mana, and Marauding Raptor
helps finish the job (or three raptors). Midnight Reaper
helps us find the pieces, and Tajic, Legion's Edge
helps nullify the damage from the raptors and a timely Storm's Wrath
. Cruel Celebrant
can also win the game without Fling
Tectonic Giant is surprisingly the least synergistic card in the deck, its pupose being only to help slow down agressive decks (if played on turn 3 from a raptor in play), and the exile can help us dig further into the deck (hopefully not exiling an Ugin too early]]
