So our side/background combo is basically trying to get Ominous Seas out with Slitherwisp's down, and casting flash spells to draw extra cards in order to get Kraken Creaure Token's out as fast as possible. Obviously the more copies of each card we have out the more effective this combo is.
The other is just a simple Gyruda, Doom of Depths train, fed with Spark Double and Thassa, Deep-Dwelling, and the added threat of resurrecting them with the help of Gravewaker and Nightmare Shepherd. This works out to be really effective a lot of the time, as most people don't think of Gravewaker's activated ability. Both cards are also fliers so they give that extra line of defensive options.
Blacklance Paragon is a good defensive flash creature, and combo'd with Minion's Return you can potentially steal your opponents biggest land based threats while gaining health at the same time.
Neat little deck. Had a lot of fun. It does the thing.
