Hi everyone, welcome to the Channel, my name is Fhulk and today I am playing Standard Ranked Bo1 with this Green Mutate that runs Kaheraa as Companion. Therefore, every Creature in the deck has to be a Cat, Elemental, Nightmare, Dinosaur or Beast.
For this reason we have Arboreal Grazer to ramp up at turn 1, playing and additional land tapped.
On Turn 2, if we are not that lucky, we can cast the Leaftkin Druid. On the other hand, if we got lucky, on turn 2 we might have already 3 lands in play and cast either Cultivate, to search and put a land tapped in game and one in hand, or even better the Migratory Greathorn to search and put a land into the battlefield and mutate on the Grazer to attack and dealing 3 damage.
Possible 3 mana play as well is Gemrazer to destroy some early Witch’s Oven otherwise, on turn 3, we can smash the opponent already with Questing Beast, ramp with Nissa or draw cards with Keruga.
But the best play, if we are blessed by The Goddess of Fortune, is having Castle Garenbrig and add 6 mana to mutate the Auspicious Starrix to start filling in the battelfield, maybe with Ugin, The Spirit Dragon.
Don’t forget that in the late game you can draw a card with Bonder’s Enclave, if you still have a 4power creature or greater.
