This is the last deck I brewed, mixing the ideas of different similar decks I saw around. This is a pure golgari version. There are other golgari versions with Tyvar and tutor mechanics, and also sultai versions without Cauldron Familiar and Witch Oven, adding Prized Amalgam and Narcomoeba.
They play somewhat differently, but they have in common one thing: they aren't top tier decks, of course. But they are fun to play, and with all these Amalia combo decks, monoreds and monoblacks full of discards and Sheoldreds, seeing different things is a breath of fresh air.
The point of this deck is to create tokens with Insidious Roots, get big Willow Geists, control the opponent with the Priest and potentially create an infinite loop with Roots, Moss-Pit Skeleton and Snarling Gorehound. Pulling this combo off isn't necessary to win, but if you manage to do it, it's basically a win.
I hope you like it, and if you have some suggestions, please share them.
