Learn more Download For WindowsThe deck is super fun in the standard play queue.
If by turn three you have 1 W, 3 B, a discard spell, and Terisian in hand. Hold mana open. Discard Terisian at end of opponents turn. Untap and unearth Terisian. Boom, half their deck is gone by turn four. Now find Jace and keep wiping the board. Don't forget to hold on to a basic plains for Thirst for Discovery value. Value basic blue over white for a better chance of unearthing the Terisian early.
You almost never hard cast the Terisian. You'll take lots of hits, but that's what the life gain is there for. It'll keep you in the game while you find your sweeper or Jace to end the game. You're almost always casting Jace with the -X of 5 to mill them down unless you're hard up for cards, then the -2 ability comes in handy.
Cycle through your cards at every chance you get, drop the ones not applicable to the matchup e.g. Temporary Lockdown. Use mending with flashback and union when you're holding cards early for the life gain.
Planeswalker superfriends, control, mono blue Djinn\Ivy interaction type decks with phasing and indestructible are a challenge.
Does well against general creatures, mono black, mono white, soldiers, discard, jank, mono red (suprisingly with all the life gain), and poison tokens.
Sideboard contains cards I've tried over time.
