# Deck
4 Murderous Rider - Destroy and block
3 Hagra Mauling - Play as land against control.
4 Castle Locthwain - Draw more cards
4 Pelakka Predation - Discard threats.
3 Agadeem's Awakening - Return Acquisitions Expert, Nighthawk Scavenger and Scourge of the Scyclaves. Also a land.
3 Acquisitions Expert - Annoying discard/block hybrid
3 Inscription of Ruin - Discard early and kick it in the late-game.
4 Bloodchief's Thirst - Absolutely needed.
2 Nighthawk Scavenger - Threat. Blocker. Finisher.
2 Scourge of the Skyclaves - Finisher.
4 Mazemind Tome - Engine. Draw and gain life.
2 Extinction Event - Board wipe
2 Erebos's Intervention - Versatile tool that also gives life.
3 Necromentia - Yes, maindeck. Target Omnath, Embercleave and maybe Soaring Thought-Thief or Zareth San, the Trickster
3 Liliana, Waker of the Dead - Finisher. Very good to prevent the enemy from coming back up again. I would
# Sideboard
3 Duress - Against counters, Ultimatums and all that annoying stuff
2 Witch's Vengeance - Against rogues
2 Kaervek, the Spiteful - Against rogues, bugs, snakes and red stuff
3 Sorcerous Spyglass - Maybe. Actually not really needed anymore. Maybe against Ashiok, Nightmare Muse. Ugin honestly isn't that big of a problem.
3 Shadows' Verdict - Exile all the rogues, goblins and snakes you can see. But beware - this also hits your stuff and really messes up with Lilianas ultimate..
2 Sparkhunter Masticore - Maybe. Against Aggro (indestructible blocker that can block Questing Beast
# How to play against Omnath
Omnath is insanely good, thats why we have to hit it with Necromentia. I can't promise an easy win, the trick is to either prevent them from going off (exile Omnath, discard with Liliana) or -when they get off- to let them mill themselves. Usually they will draw their whole deck by themselves, we just have to survive until then.
Omnath decks usually have multiple win-cons: Omnath, Shark Typhoon, Elder Gargaroth and maybe Ruin Crab, Terror of the Peaks or Ugin. The latter three are "easily" removed, but Shark Typhoon is annoying once it hits the board. I would recommend to target it after Omnath.
Depending on the game flow, try to exile Omnath, Shark Typhoon or Genesis Ultimatum.
# How to play against rogues
Just destroy everything. Between Kaervek, the Spiteful, Witch's Vengeance, Shadows' Verdict and Extinction Event they have no chance.
As usual, the meta develops, so who knows how Omnath decks look in a week - until then, have fun!
Artisanal crafted, organic decks that will bring joy to everyone.
