Description

I Know what you are thinking! Anti-Meta! Who is this No Name dude coming in here with some antimeta deck! I have been playing Magic since 1994, and I love the Game. I love Esper, I love Control, and I love everything about the way the game works.

When you look at this list, I know one thing stands out the most. Kaya. And you ask, why the heck is Kaya the Inexorableimage in a deck that runs ONE creature, she is never gone hit her -7! EVER and even if she does, it's never gonna be useful!

Her -3 is so very important now adays in the current meta. with so many things coming back from the graveyard and effects like that, keeping things like Kroxa out of commision permanently are important. Is 5 mana a LOT to spend on a one time removal spell when you have so many others to chose from? Yse, but the benifits of using her late game, when your opponent is already in the lurch because of your Shadows' Verdictimage wiping up the board and the graveyard as well as Baleful Masteryimage & Extinction Eventimage taking over and over whelming your opponent, Kaya dropping and staying on the field as a threat as a permanent exile tool is a huge threat. Add in Ashiok, Ugin, and the very cool and very new Professor Onyximage and you have yourself a very hard hitting deck that is going to make even the most fervent red decks rage.

So, Tired of monoblack, monored, monogreen? Tired of Sultai Ultimatum? Are you tired of ROGUES! give this deck a shot, it's got a tremendous win rate against meta decks, and is fun to steer. Or use it as a sheel and add your own flavor to it.

Have fun climbing that ladder!
