Description

I looked for some decks built around Eerie Ultimatum which seemed like a very powerful card, but I didn't like any of them and none of them were using Yorion or Cavalier of Thorns. They really didn't have enough ways to fill the graveyard or make use of the graveyard. The deck at first was just plain bad before the bans when everyone was cheating agents into play.

This is still basically a first draft, but I've been having a bit of success with the deck post ban especially since I added Cavalier and tweaked the side board. When I was playing 60 card version without Cavalier or Yorion, I kept self milling Eerie and losing a big win con for the deck. This is the first deck I've shared that I feel comfortable calling my own.

Sideboard/Mana could probably use some work still, but it's much better than the deck I started with.

Basic strategy is to use Cavalier of Thorns, Mire Triton, Tymaret Calls the Dead, and Ashiok to fill your graveyard then use ECD and Cavalier to pull the cards out from it that you need and set up Eerie Ultimatum.

Setting up a 10+ card Eerie ultimatum is very satisfying and even if the opponent has a wipe in hand Cavalier of Thorns will let you pull Eerie back out and do it again on the next turn.

Updated: I came back to this post ban and updated a bit with M21 cards. It seems much stronger than it was before the ban. Demonic Embrace on a cavalier is a nice way to steal wins, also synergizes with all the self-mill and the elf works well with Yorion.
