Description

Greetings friends!

I have a spicy brew for you today showcasing many new cards from Zendikar Rising. Our deck pushes the limits of the new "flip" lands with Shepherd of the Flock and Murasa Rootgrazer. You may think "Hey! Murasa doesn't help return your non-basic lands to your hand?" but wait if Dryad of the Ilysian Grove is on the battlefield, you can!

Also with the new Ashaya, Soul of the Wild your non-Token creatures are Forest so you have the added benefit of saving your creatures with Murasa. This works especially well with the new Skyclave Apparition which you can bounce back to your hand with the first ability on the stack (in Arena hold full control) causing the second ability to resolve first (giving your opponent nothing) and still exiling a permanent when the first ability resolves.

Felidar Retreat and Scute Swarm help you go long, and Elspeth Conquers Death is there to fight Ugin.

This deck is built with the Bo1 meta in mind, but can easily be adapted for Bo3. I'm very excited for this deck and will be building a sideboard and posting it in the discord.
