With the release of Outlaws of Thunder Junction, we take out a few basic lands and replace them with Lonely Arroyo, and Three Steps Ahead. A new interaction is bouncing Lonely Arroyo with Tameshi and playing it again for free damage. Doubled, if Elesh Norn is also in play.
At least two Forensic Researchers and a Deeproot Pilgrimage isn't enough. Why not add a Halo Fountain for the win condition? Missing a Researcher or two? Just use Halo Fountain's draw ability until you find them. Opponent removing your combo pieces? Then give Tameshi, Reality Architect a Helping Hand with Agatha's Soul Cauldron. You can also use Case of the Uneaten Feast(CUE) to bring your critical creatures back, then bring the Case back with Tameshi!
With a single Forensic Researcher you can delay by tapping your opponent's biggest creatures. Add a Halo Fountain, and you can create as many Citizen tokens as you have white mana. If you also have a Deeproot Pilgrimage, you can create Merfolk tokens. These tokens are good candidates for The Reality Chip, because they're hexproof. And of course, CUE is just overjoyed at any tokens showing up. Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines is there to make all your ETB trigger twice, as well as screw up your opponent. Speaking of screwing up, you can make your opponent pay dearly for noncreature spells with Vodalian Hexcatcher, and counter them outright with Three Steps Ahead(TSA). Speaking of TSA, if you only have one copy of Forensic Researcher, you can just MAKE one with TSA. Don't forget you can untap lands with Forensic Researcher or Lost Jitte.
+1/+1 counters are provided via ASC. The Reality Chip, Teferi, and Defiler of Dreams is for draw. Cloudsteel Kirin is for pure delay.
