Top Standard Decks - August 2024
Bloomburrow is about more than a week into the Standard, plus we have a new rotation. As such, the adaptation of the newest set into the metagame typically gets faster as more replacements are required into the fold. Now, this does not mean universal adaptability for Bloomburrow. But it does clearly show us how sets can be affected by how they fall into the rotation schedule.
That being said, there are a few welcome alternatives already available into older sets, some of which we are about to briefly provide reference to with the lists below:

Golgari kept the top spot with almost no changes to its core design last month, which also includes the newer OTJ cards added to its variants last April. The huge difference? it eats up 11.90% of the meta. It's a totally different story for Simic, and Esper however, as each of them significantly dropped, with only Simic keeping its place on the list. Mono-Red... well, it's still there, now modified with lots of Bloomburrow tech, and is technically a "Rakdos" with the official, more solid adoption of Callous Sell-Sword after many months of being on and off the decklist.
Also uhh... each and every entry within the Bo3 top 8 after Golgari is somehow listed as 4.76% of the meta?!

Ah Mono-White, how I immediately miss thee. Mono Red is still there, as expected, and so is Boros. Although, the latter seems to have almost fallen off the list. Now, as for the usual Selesnya, gone is the way of the enchantments, as we welcome the newer Rabbit variant of the deck. Mono Black keeps its double entries for this month as well (2nd and 4th), even if the Skeletons variant once again does a complete switcheroo with the Crimes variant. Orzhov, being upgraded to 3rd, also has quite a lot of new playthings as well, which are perfectly on theme with most of its original objectives.
