I use the gateway mainly to cycle through my deck to get rid of cards that dont help me in the matchup or get the right mana cards. I think the threat of popping Gateway is bigger then anything else. Against Golgari midrange for example they have to choose what to kill with the -3 of Viven Search5 years ago
