The changes were made to improve matchups vs Esper, at the expense of weakening matchups vs Monowhite. Eradicator Valkyrie is a problem for Esper after board, fourth witherbloom was added to deal with the new bankbuster meta, and an additional go blank to attack their hand midgame. Second Field of ruin was added to attack esper's mana base: most versions running two basic lands at most and rarely run islands. You can recur the Field/Boseiju with witherbloom and destroy their land.
