Alright ive come back from the dead to raise my own with my attempt to get the hang of arena. i do more modern so this feels really underpowerd and different.
anyways this is NIGHTMARE EYES V2. dont worry about v1. it sucked.
the way this deck works is your under the companion ristrictions so of course no permanents over CMC 2. so i thought "hey if i can bring back cards from my graveyard once per turn, why not use enchantments instead of sorceries and instants so that i can annoyingly bring them back and basicly have 2 libraries to play from."
so basicly how the deck works, is your gonna want a couple of auras in your opening hand (preferable Dead Weight and/or Mire's Grasp) so as you throw down lands you can slow your opponent down by hitting the small creatures that would otherise help him later on with -/- enchantments, killing them, and buying time untill eventually you can throw down your Lurrus of the Dream-Den. once hes out your pretty much set. untill it eventually gets removed. hopefully you have a raise dead by then cuz its the only capable of bringing it back. from there you revert to midrange and swing each turn with what you got on the field, while holding back your enemy.
Lurrus of the Dream-Den annoy your opponent by constantly throwing enchantments at there creatures and/or trigger sacrifice effects to your needs
Witch's Oven is your free sac engine. use it when someone tries to pick off one of your creatures. noone killes your creatures but you.
Village Rites dont have cards? now you do.
Funeral Rites dont have cards? feed the cat while your at it.
Dead Weight yeah dont let that scute beetle take another breath
Heartless Act removal on a budget
Mire's Grasp aw your Impassioned Orator got a counter? whatever will i do
Omen of the Forge when Dead Weight isnt enough
Thundering Rebuke you get one chance, make it count
Careless Celebrant is very usefull when sacraficing. dont let yourself be the only one suffering
Archfiend's Vessel pretty self explanitory
Blood Aspirant hes only usefull once certain peices are in play but if thats not the case, hes just a sac creature
Boot Nipper usefull in 3 ways
Discordant Piper chump blocker/ sac creature x2
Mire Triton just in case that one card you need isnt in the graveyard yet
Serrated Scorpion idk its kinda all that was left to choose from in my collection
i might make a modern deck with this companion cuz i genuinely love Lurrus, ive managed to climb to teir 3 gold (my personal best) with quite litreally only like 4 losses. once you get the hang of how the deck works, your pretty unstoppable.
