Introduction

This is a mono red deck that aims to deal 20 damage to the opponent as fast as possible. The deck has some Wilds of Eldraine cards, such as Goddric, Cloaked Reveler.

Format

The deck is for the Standard format, as of September 2023. The last legal set at the time of last updating the deck is Wilds of Eldraine.
The deck should perform well in Bo1. It can also work in Bo3, but probably needs to be pre-sideboarded differently.
The deck can win games on turn 4, which means that it is suitable for quickly grinding a large number of wins in the Arena ladder.

Two recent top performing mono red deck on Untapped: Deck 1 and Deck 2

I combined the decks to a version that I think is the best one you can make using the currently available cards in Standard.

Strategy

There are a few combos in the deck.

Goddric, Cloaked Reveler

Goddric requires 2 non-land permanents to enter the battlefield in the same turn to trigger its celebration ability. You can achieve this in a few ways:

Play Goddric in the same turn as Kumano Faces Kakkazan // Etching of Kumano flips.
Play Squee, Dubious Monarch and attack with it when Goddric is in play. Squee and a token entering the battlefield count as two permanents.
Play Charming Scoundrel and attach Wicked Role to a creature while Goddric is in play. These will count as two permanents, because Wicked Role is a token aura enchantment.
Channel Sokenzan, Crucible of Defiance when Goddric is in play.
Play any two non-land permanents normally.

Thundering Raiju

Thundering Raiju combos well with some cards in the deck.

+1/+1 counters of Phoenix Chick and Kumano Faces Kakkazan // Etching of Kumano are modifications.
The Wicked Role of Charming Scoundrel counts as a modification.

Squee Dubious Monarch

Squee, Dubious Monarch creates tokens, which help Phoenix Chick to come back from the grave. Squee is also a combo with Goddric, Cloaked Reveler, because it creates a permanent when attacking.
