Arena Standard - [ELD] 4C Enigmatic Incarnation
Combo
The 4C Enigmatic meme engine has arrived! It may seem like jank at first, but the synergistic effects of all cards make this deck competitively viable. Great if your card collection only has 1 or 2 copies of the new rare/mythic enchantments released in ELD, because that's all you need to make the deck work! The only thing mandatory is 4x copies of Enigmatic Incarnation
, which makes this deck possible.
Basic Combo:
- Ramp to 4 mana through Wolfwillow Haven
and Omen of the Hunt to get Enigmatic Incarnation on the field - Sacrifice low cost enchantments to either deal with the opponent's board state or bring in enchantment creatures like Dryad of the Ilysian Grove and Thassa, Deep-Dwelling
- Keep sacrificing enchantment creatures to reach 5 CMC, which lets you bring out creatures with strong ETB effects
- Having Aphemia, the Cacophony on the board lets you turn those sacrificed enchantments into blockers
- Sacrificng a 5 CMC enchant/enchantment creature like Gravebreaker Lamia or Elspeth Conquers Death lets you get Dream Trawler on the board for free, which can win you the game by itself
Be aware of some strong combos:
Thassa with Harmonious Archon- creates two 3/3 tokens every turn.
Gravebreaker Lamia with Elspeth- can intentionally put a certain card in the graveyard then resurrect it when Elspeth reaches 3 lore counters.
Treacherous Blessing with Doom Foretold- force the enemy to sacrifice permanents while you get great card draw.
Also, you may want to disable "Auto Order Triggered Abilities" in Arena's option menu if you're wanting to try this deck. It's pretty important to be able to choose what resolves first when you have multiple triggers with Enigmatic Incarnation.
