Lightweight Boros Aggro but still Good

No rares or mythic rares in the deck!

Introduction

This is a "lite" version of the Tier 1 Boros Aggro/Convoke deck, which has no rares or mythic rares in it. The deck is made for beginners, who want a cheap but performant deck with a token-based gameplay.

The deck deploys most of the same small creatures as the Tier 1 version substituting rare and mythic rare cards with great uncommons, such as Lightning Helix and Yotian Frontliner. Lightning Helix is great for racing other fast aggro decks, and Yotian Frontliner can be used twice as a target for Gleeful Demolition. Kumano Faces Kakkazan // Etching of Kumano also makes an appearance in the deck, and it can be considered to be one of the very best cards available for red aggro decks in Standard.

The two copies of Stoke the Flames are there to teach players how Convoke works. I considered it to be the second best Convoke card after Knight-Errant of Eos.

Format

• The deck is for the Standard format with Murders at Karlov Manor being the last legal set.
• The deck is probably Tier 2 caliber.
• The deck can be played in both Bo1 and Bo3.
• The deck is pretty fast, and thus it's suitable for quickly grinding a large number of wins in the MTG Arena ladder.
