Historic Brawl - Kykar, Winds of Storm
Combo
Best storm deck in historic brawl. Having an enabler in the command zone can lead to wins as early as turn 4. Heavy emphasis on red cantrips/rummage effects to fully enable runaway steam-kin. The little engine that could opens up very explosive lines. Pro-tip: steam-kin on the board with 2nd or 3rd chapter of showdown of the skalds active is an instawin. Otherwise, typical storm enablers and spell reducers to be able to pop off with as little as 1 mana. Copy and tutor spells give you redundancy along with modal spells and plenty of interaction to expertly navigate any board state. There are also 2 board clears, day of judgement and furious. You can usually win without interacting much with the opponent's board but sometimes you just need to wipe it away to buy some time. One last card to note: reconstruct history. Absolute banger in grindy matchups. Control players hate that one simple trick. Especially nice if you need to cut short a breach turn.
So there you have it. Kykar Storm is some of the most fun to be had in historic brawl. Not only in storming off but also setting up for storm turns. Can also kill a multitude of ways, helps to keep them in mind. Big brain recommended.
