A fun deck for Historic Bo1! (Best in Bronze & Silver ranks)
Everything plays off of +1/+1 counters (except Llanowar Elves
& everything can be played off of Collected Company
(except Inspiring Call
). Note: with 50% creatures which can be hit off of CoCo hitting no creatures is 1.6% chance, exactly 1 creature is 9.3% chance and 2 or more creatures is 89.1% - so numbers are good (however there is a slim chance of losing a creature to the Legendary rule).
Due to a lack of wildcards I've been running four Wildborn Preserver
over three Luminarch Aspirant
& a Rishkar, Peema Renegade
and it has been doing work! I suspect Luminarch is better - but if I was to turn this into Bo3, it would go in the sideboard vs the slower decks. It's stocks go up when you've got either CoCo or Inspring Call in hand as it gives you more instant speed options!
Similarly I've also been running one Sarulf, Realm Eater
over one of the Knight of Autumn
which demolished Goblins single handedly - so if going Bo3 add it in for all low to the ground decks & vs sacrifice (even if you never remove the counters he gonna get swol).
