This deck is a dark and twisted version of an Angel tribal deck, centered around the powerful combo of Angel of Suffering and Gaea's Blessing. These sinister angels are designed to prolong your opponent's suffering and crush their hopes.
The Creatures:
Renegade Reaper has an incredible amount of synergy with the deck, providing you with a self-mill option that can trigger several effects along the way.
Vengeful Reaper is an incredibly versatile card that brings flying, death touch, and haste to the board, making it an excellent addition in many situations. The foretell ability is also quite intriguing, allowing for some early bluffing before your opponent realizes what you're playing.
Angel of Suffering is the cornerstone of the deck, nearly rendering you invincible when combined with Gaea's Blessing, provided you can keep it on the board. Fortunately, many of our spells provides some assistance in that regard.
The Spells:
Bloodchief's Thirst provides versatile removal options, with the ability to kill creatures early on or pay the kicker to remove bigger threats later in the game. Consider adding more copies if possible.
Dig Up is a fantastic card for fixing mana issues in the early game, while also serving as a great toolbox option to fetch specific cards in the late game.
Malakir Rebirth offers a second life for your Angels when land is abundant, making it a valuable card to keep them on the board even if your opponent tries something sneaky.
Tamiyo's Safekeeping provides protection not only for creatures, but also for other important cards in the deck like Journey to Eternity // Atzal, Cave of Eternity and Mirror Shield. Its Indestructible ability also comes in handy when dealing with global damage that bypasses Hexproof.
Gaea's Blessing is the second key card of the deck, shuffling your graveyard into your library when triggered. This card gets triggered a lot with the combo, so it's important to be mindful of the two copies in the deck. A third copy is available in the sideboard for added security.
Go for the Throat offers instant-speed creature removal, a valuable tool in any deck. There are other options available for this slot, so choose what works best for you.
Tear Asunder is another flexible card that provides both destruction and exile options. Destroying an enchantment is always useful, but paying the kicker cost allows you to remove almost anything in your way.
Hero's Downfall offers more instant-speed creature removal, this time extending to Planeswalkers as well. Might consider insead Soul Transfer if Instant speed is not important to you as it has some other synergies with the deck.
Journey to Eternity // Atzal, Cave of Eternity is a fantastic card for the deck, allowing your Angel of Suffering to remain on the board as long as it doesn't get exiled. With enough free mana, you can even bring it back when needed.
Creeping Chill provides a sneaky way to deal damage to your opponent, with the ability to deal 12 damage if all four copies are used. It can also be played from your hand if the opportunity arises.
Mastermind's Acquisition is a vital card for the sideboard, allowing you to find solutions to specific threats or weaknesses in your opponent's deck. Building a strong sideboard is essential for maximizing the potential of this card.
The Other Stuff:
Mirror Shield provides a crucial layer of Hexproof, allowing your key Angel to operate unimpeded by your opponents. When combined with the array of powerful support cards at your disposal, it often spells certain doom for those who dare to stand in your way.
The Gameplan:
To excel with this deck, it's crucial to hit your 5th mana to unleash the powerful Angel of Suffering. In the meantime, focus on playing defensively and ensure you don't miss any land drops. Although you can take some damage, don't hesitate to absorb a few hits if necessary. The beauty of this deck lies in the fact that most of your spells recycle back into your deck thanks to Gaea's Blessing, making them reusable. As such, your sideboard plays a vital role here, and keep in mind that your sideboard cards also get shuffled back into your deck. Brace yourself for some lengthy games since this deck is capable of hard lockdowns, but be assured that your opponent will also suffer. So, no need to rush and make any plans since you might be in for a long haul.

added Bonders' Enclave x2 for more card draw once everything's set up, updated sideboard with The Immortal Sun.
Updated 2-21-23
Better write up and added Soul Transfer option since a lot of people seem to dislike Hero's Downfall for some reason.
