Ok man, here is the final batch of upgrades. Here's what we have.
Dockside is a powerhouse and takes up most of this tier's budget, but make no mistake, he's worth it. Anytime you cast him, he'll make a huge difference in your game in terms of ramp and Brudiclad. And, as mentioned on Fiverr, he combos with Mechanized Production to win the game on your next upkeep.
For Dockside we'll cut Moonsnare Prototype. In terms of mana production, Dockside provides much more.
Next, we'll be cutting Essence Capture. It's a bit limited in what it can counter since it only hits creatures. In its place, we'll add Spell Swindle. It can counter anything we need and make a boatload of treasure in the process. This is a game-swinging card.
If you counter something big, not only do you keep your opponents from casting an impactful spell, but you also put yourself in leaps and bounds ahead of the table in terms of mana, all in one fell swoop.
This is yet another card that threatens to win the game alongside Mechanized Production and Dockside. And both cards go insane with things like Academy Manufactor and Goldspan Dragon.
I wanted to make room for a copy (no pun intended, haha) of Kiki - If you're copying spells, he's great to have around. There are also several other combos (that I didn't include) that we have access to with him in the deck. Let me know if you're interested in them, and we'll talk it over.
For Kiki, we're going to cut Precursor Golem. It does put a lot of power and toughness onto the board but doesn't do much else. Plus, it's pretty easy to get blown out with a single removal spell, which isn't good.
For Reshape, we're cutting Anchor to Reality. Anchor was here to grab Mechtitan Core, I'm sure. Reshape can also tutor it up for the same cost but will also put it into play for free. And with as much ramp as we're packing now, you can cheat even your biggest artifacts out for free.
Since we've built up so much synergy with Mechanized Production and the heavy hitters in this tier, this is a tutor just for Mechanized Production to help you go off and make the deck a bit more capable of pulling off wins like we're talking about.
For this, we'll cut Iron Myr - Nothing wrong with it, but we've added so much ramp that you'll never know it's gone.
