Description

Alright this is the first deck write-up I've done, but I think this deck is worth it. I've been trying to find a deck that I felt really used Pack Rat to it's maximum potential, and I think I've got it with this. It's all about rats, rats, and more rats. It's not super competitive, but I've had pretty good success with the deck in Bo1 Historic. Quite simply you just want to throw out as many rats as quickly as possible.

The deck is functional at 3 mana but 5 is the magic number. Basically you would cycle a Rat Colony every turn to Pack Rat, and then play Rat Colony with Lurrus. You destroy creatures that get in your way and keep hitting them in the face with bigger and bigger rats. On top of that you have the oh so useful menace thanks to Piper of the Swarm. Both of his active abilities are also useful though, so look for opportunities to keep using them. The rest of the deck are flex spots, but I've found the removal to be worth it, especially the 3 Extinction Events. Declare odd and you'll always have a 1 sided board wipe (mostly), and Kaya's Ghostform means Lurrus comes back from exile.

Overall I'm pretty proud of this deck. I'm sure there's more tinkering to be done with it, but I'm happy with how it's played so far.
