Learn more Download For WindowsI know it's been a long time since I've posted a deck but I've never went out of the scene completely. This the new GRN version of the Sundering Jeskai deck, which includes the usually played Jeskai decks cards along with some sideboard plans.
Sometimes you just want to side out all the combo pieces just to go back to the Niv-Mizzet + dive down strategy or just play legion warboss to get the opponent by surprise. Expecially in control mirrors or generally not very fast decks. Game 1 some dimir or grixis campain decks might be annoying but game 2 and 3 you can make them feel the pressure and get away with the match.
There is a big match up to talk about which is Golgari midrange of course: to be honest we are favourite on paper expecially in the main if we can chain a couple of temporal sundering or just free ourselves with the combination of deafining clarion and expansion explosion. But sometimes it may happen we get run over in the first 3-4 turns if we don't draw any clarion or settle. Beware of midnight reaper when you are forced to clear the board but they can refill their hand. On game 2 we can add Star of extinction, entrancing melody and maybe lyra if we are forced to race tyrants we couldn't deal with.
The aggro match ups are always up to deafining clarion and keeping a disdainful stroke for eventual heroic reinforcements or frenzy if they are a base red-x aggro. Selesnya tokens might be annoying but has less reach and pressure than red based decks and again all depends on our swepers before we take over the game. Usually we side out karn and oath of teferi because they are too slow and don't add much in the match up.
I think you already know most of the things I said, feel free to add your personal slight change to the deck based on what you're usually are up against. Good Games to all of you.
