Greetings Earthlings! It's your boy GrinningSigbin back at it again with another Ravnica Constructed Gameplay. This time we're gonna feature a rather spicy deck in the form of the Rakdos Aggro.
The block constructed deck that we're gonna be playing today is all about dealing damage to our opponent. We can soften them up a little bit with our early aggressive creatures like Gutterbones
, Fireblade Artist
, and Dreadhorde Butcher
.
Then, when it's time to turn up the heat, we can turn to Judith, the Scourge Diva
's passive abilities, or Legion Warboss
that gives a constant supply of 1/1 creature tokens, or just go ham with a pair of Spawn of Mayhem
s.
Of course, if none of those cards show up to the party, we can also rely on the deck's nifty synergy between Gutterbones and Fireblade Artist. When these two creatures are both in the battlefield, we can sacrifice Gutterbones at the beginning of our upkeep to Fireblade Artist and deal two damage to our opponent or a planeswalker they control. If you choose to do the former and you have enough manas, it will allow us to repeat the process the next turn, thanks to Gutterbone's activated ability.
We also have a trio Rix Maadi Reveler
, and a trifecta of Risk Factors to make sure that we don't run out fuel when the going gets tough.
Lastly, we have a good amount of removal spells in the form of two Angrath's Rampage
and a set Bedevil
so we can rid of the threats on the other side of the board.
