Description

CONCEPT

Once you get the 3 combo pieces to stick and your opponent does not have an instant speed answer to any of the cards then you win the game 100%. Either they concede from how long you're taking or you dig until you find Terror of the Peaks (while gaining mana the entire time) and do infinite damage.

HOW IT WORKS

Get Hazoret's Monument on the board, making your creature spells cost 1 less and allowing us to dig

Play Birgi, God of Storytelling & Grinning Ignus. It's better to play them on the same turn less of a chance of them being removed by your opponent (Hopefully you have some treasure tokens from Magda, Brazen Outlaw or Goldspan Dragon if you need extra mana)

Celebrate because you just won the game. Here is how:

Birgi, God of Storytelling gives you 1 red mana when you play a creature aka Grinning Ignus, The exact amount we need to return Grinning Ignus back to our hand thus recieving 2 colorless & 1 red mana.

Hazoret's Monument allows us to discard a card and draw a card everytime we play Grinning Ignus

So you play Grinning Ignus, discard/draw, return Grinning Ignus to hand. Repeat.

This process stacks mana, and we do this until we draw Terror of the Peaks

Play Terror of the Peaks

Continue playing Grinning Ignus and returning him to your hand, now everytime you play him Terror of the Peaks does 2 dmg to any target.

Win the game

(From my experience most people stick around for a bit in awe of what they are witnessing, then they quit shortly after)

The rest of the deck is really pilot preference, you can build more dig heavy to help you find combo pieces or more survival heavy with removal.

The deck I provided is a mix of survival and obtaining some treasure tokens for extra mana.

This deck can easily be developed into a storm one shot deck with cards like image and the like.

Here is a fun Storm version of this deck by author LegenVD

Lots of decks featuring variations of this combo are coming to the surface now, I would act fast before possible bans, who knows
