Description

What does the deck do: ramps as it creates bargain targets for beseech the mirror and it's copies (off mizzix's mastery) then builds up storm count and kills the enemy with tendrils of agony.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

important things to note:

1) We need 5-8 bargain targets generally (5 for 18 dmg 8 for 26 dmg). Have 1 beseech in hand and cast it to start the combo.

2) If we have no tendrils of agony left in the deck, we lose (we could use our last mizzix on a tendrils in the cemetery if we somehow get one there but the deck doesn't have the tech to do that, so jsut keep it in mind for these rare circumstances)

3) For each mizzix/beseech that's not in our deck (besides the one we start the combo with) we'll need 1 less bargain target BUT we'll also deal 2 less damage.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Combos:

I'll go from the highest dmg storm combo which is storm count 13 (26 dmg) up to to worst case scenario which is storm count 9 (18 dmg) I also mention combos that happens in the rare circumstance we have a tendrils in the graveyard which is why i'm considering it last:

1) Cast 4x beseech (bargained) -> 4x mizzix's mastery on 4x beseech (bargained) / 1x tendrils of agony. = 26 dmg (requires 8 bargain targets)

2) Cast 4x beseech (bargained) -> 3x mizzix's mastery on 3x beseech (bargained) / 1x tendrils of agony. = 22 dmg (requires 7 bargain targets)

3) Cast 3x beseech (bargained) -> 3x mizzix's mastery on 3x beseech (bargained) / 1x tendrils of agony. = 20 dmg (requires 6 bargain targets)

4) Cast 3x beseech (bargained) -> 2x mizzix's mastery on 2x beseech (bargained) / 1x tendrils of agony. = 18 dmg (requires 4 bargain targets)

5) Cast 2x beseech (bargained) -> 3x mizzix's mastery on 2x beseech (bargained) and the last one on 1x tendrils of agony (in the graveyard). = 18 dmg (requires 4 bargain targets)

6) Cast 3x beseech (bargained) -> 4x mizzix's mastery on 3x beseech (bargained)  and the last one on 1x tendrils of agony (in the graveyard). = 22 dmg (requires 6 bargain targets)

NB: IF I missed any of the possible combos that deal 18 + damage I'm sorry XD

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bargain target ranking from hardest to kill to easiest to kill: 1) indestructable artifact land 2) enchantment 3) artifact 4) creature.

Try to avoid using bargain tokens of kinds your enemy can remove because they could destroy your bargain target in response of your beseech targeting it which would stop your combo and lose you the game (so specially avoid creature but also artifacts are at high risk at times)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

win con: tendrils of agony

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

extra cards we could/should play:

fire prophecy/volcanic spite: these are important because they give us a way to interact with the boardstate BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY they allow us to reshuffle extra beseech/mizzix/tendrils that might otherwise fuck our combo up.

The Witch's Vanity: allows us to kill a 2 mana creature on chapter 1, makes us a bargain target on chapter 2 and for aslong as it's in play it's on itself a bargain target, so in the best case scenario this is board interaction and 2x bargain token.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

weaknesses: counterspells - aggro decks (we have 0 interaction) - enemy destroying your bargain target in response of a beseech targeting it - enemy healing itself since we'll do 20-24 damage - having in hand/graveyard 1 beseech/mizzix too many, (this means we won't be able to win possibly as our storm counter will be lower, we can afford to have max 1 extra beseech/mizzix in the hand/graveyard any more and we can't deal 20 damage).

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is a junk deck be aware: Don't expect high winrates as it's quite easy to counter given it doesn't interact with the boardstate and it deals a very specific, usually barely enough amount of damage to kill the enemy that is if you don't end up drawing combo pieces which would make you unable to deal enough damage potentially.
