Add at least 100 different cards to your collection and set it as your Compare Collection on the manage page to see what cards from this deck you are missing.
Compare your MTG Arena Collection with AetherHub decklists or any other decks found on the web with the MTGA Assistant extension. Syncing your account will automatically upload your collection so you can see what cards you are missing right here.
Learn more Download For WindowsA janky semi-competitive build mostly to have fun. Probably works very well in Historic too (and I may actually make a more refined version for that format in the future).
Doc Aurlock is an INSANE card. There are many, many different ways to completely break the card; this archetype relies on the ability that discounts spells cast from graveyard.
You need Aurlock on the battlefield together with Underworld's Breach: you cast Gixian Recycler from your graveyard for 0, then you mill 3 cards sacrificing Recycler with Altar of Dementia. When it dies it conjures a copy of itself in the graveyard, so you imediately go positive: 3 exiled cards to pay for the escape cost, 3 milled cards plus 1 conjured card after all the triggers resolve to repeat the process until your library is empty. At that point, you win with Thassa's Oracle.
Energy Refractor + Forensic Gadgeteer acts as a "Chromatic Orrery at home" to fix colors (it's also an answer to an opponent's Blood Moon), and since you can sacrifice clues for just 1, you can draw an infinite amount of cards together with Crime Novelist as long as you're able to keep casting artifact spells.
Goblin Engineer finds some of the missing combo parts, Neoform finds the missing creatures while potentially triggering Stitcher's Supplier - also, the tutored creature enters the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter, which may be relevant to mill an additional card with Altar of Dementia in case you're ready to start the combo but can't pay for the escape cost.
There are other forms of micro-advantage but I feel this explaination is long enough already. Enjoy!
