I wanted to copy the back side of Ill-tempered Loner with a fight spell (Vesuvan Duplimancy), so that both it and the copy will see it fight and do damage to get some big numbers to go face. Copying the Lord of the Uvenwald or Tovolar is pretty good too.
The only thing that might be non-obvious in terms of deck building is Careful Cultivation. It can ramp at instant speed on turn 2 to cast Vesuvan Duplimancy or Ill-Tempered a turn earlier, which is always good. If you draw it after the need for ramp, it can trigger the Vesuvan Duplimancy, so it serves as an accelerant and an extender, which is good for decks like this that need to have lots of different parts.
Nevermind, I don't think this works. Duplimany requires 1 target. It's not Orvar.
