The early data for Winota, Joiner of Forcesimage decks showed it to be both popular and strong, but, since the deck was so new in the format, Wizards wanted to allow some time to see how the rest of the field adapted. And though the field has recently shifted due to last week's announcement, the data show that this is not significantly reducing the performance of this deck. In fact, with the data now available, they saw the popularity roughly doubling since its emergence and the win rate remained problematically high. Decks using Winota, Joiner of Forces currently represent too large a portion of the Historic metagame, and the quality of enablers and payoffs in the format means that this is unlikely to change without further action. Because of this, Winota, Joiner of Forces is now suspended in Historic.

No reimbursements

Since Winota is still playable in Standard and the card is only suspended in Historic, Wizards will not provide players with a Wildcards. If they do decide to ban her they will make changes to players' collections at that time.

New format added on AetherHub

We have added the Traditional Historic format on AetherHub! For now, it has a Deck Section for our users, but we will start collecting metagame decks from MTGA Assistant to compile meta decklists for our users to look at.

Yea, don't think anyone's surprised at this one. Way too easy to do silly things.
