Standard - Abzan Midrange Control
Challenging deck to play. Old school midrange. Efficient creatures. Spot Removal to clear the way. Hand disruption to remove problem cards from opponents hand or graveyard. Indestructable Lion, Conclave Cavalier, & Seraph of the Scales to give resiliency to board wipes. Destiny spinner for counter-magic and her special ability to make your lands a creature is often overlooked when opponents math out a crackback. Stonecoil Serpant's versatility speaks for itself. Recent addition of Garruk's Harbringer gives black removal big problems and his ability work when hitting Planeswalkers and players. As meta changes Heroic Intervention and Return Of the Wildspeaker might be put back in Sideboard and Main respectively. Wildspeaker, I've found, either sits in hand and hits oppnent when I'm already going to win or it sits in my hand and I say, "I wish this was removal." Heroic intervention is more cards in a deck that is already resilient to boardwips and removal. Remember to cycle triome and oath of kaya is for removal and to make your Destiny Spinner land bigger (along with Bronzehide Lion). Remember this deck works your brain and alway gives me flashbacks of classic interative Magic gameplay. 52% win ration in BO1 and 58% Tradditional Standard play.
