Innistrad Midnight Hunt has finally dropped in MTG Arena, and we are kicking it off with Arlinn's Wolves! This is a Gruul deck built around all of the bestest ever wolves in IMH, and of course particularly Arlinn, the Pack's Hope // Arlinn, the Moon's Furyimage. The goal of the deck is to get down as many wolves as quick as possible, killing the creatures small opponents in the meantime with Blizzard Brawlimage or Frost Biteimage, turning it to Night and then hitting in for a bunch of damage! Read on if you'd like the specific functions of the deck:

Arlinn, the Pack's Hope // Arlinn, the Moon's Furyimage gives multiple advantages to the deck including: creating 2 wolf tokens, allowing us to flash creatures and get counters, and when Nightbound: add red/green mana, and be a big boi wolfy!

Our Kessig Naturalist // Lord of the Ulvenwaldimage is one of the better 2 drops in the deck, as it allows us to get an early Arlinn on turn 3. When it turns to night, the back side is especially useful as it buffs all of our other wolves, acting as the "Wolf Lord."

Tovolar, Dire Overlord // Tovolar, the Midnight Scourgeimage is my favorite 3 drop in the deck as he functions as a great card draw mechanic, as well as another way to buff our wolves when he is Nightbound. Toski, Bearer of Secretsimage also allows us to draw cards effectively as we are gaining trample on our wolves with Hound Tamer // Untamed Pupimage's Nightbound ability.

Primal Adversaryimage is a great use of all the mana potential from Goldspan Dragonimage or Arlinn's +2 flipped ability, as the more mana we have, the more land wolf creatures with haste we are creating, and overall more damage to the opponents face!

Since we are playing snow lands, of course we gotta have our Blizzard Brawlimage and Frost Biteimage for early to late game creature removal. We also have Snakeskin Veilimage to protect our better creatures from removal, and Unnatural Moonriseimage to allow us to make it night easily and possibly draw a card.

Lastly, Ranger Classimage acts as another way to get a wolf, counters, and find our creatures with each level respectively. We also have You Meet in a Tavernimage to help us find our creatures as well!

This deck was a blast to play, and overall a great intro into Innistrad: Midnight Hunt! I showcased this deck on my YouTube channel, and i did relatively well considering this is the first day of release! if you'd like to check out the video, click the link/video provided on this page.
