Midrange Combo
The idea behind this deck is obviously ramping but also while maintaining control.
Ramping one mana at turn 2 with Azusa's Many Journeys // Likeness of the Seeker
,
at turn 3 with 4 mana we ramp further with either Topiary Stomper
or Cartographer's Survey
and at turn 4 we are able to cast out first Vesuvan Duplimancy
or get a small Rust Goliath
to blink out and in with Planar Incision
I often tend to protect or just use Tamiyo's Safekeeping
on one of my Topiary Stomper just for extra land but thats situational.
Memory Deluge
perfect card draw imo , especially with the flashback.
Hurkyl's Final Meditation
a must have for a ramp deck and Consuming Tide
to maintain some control over the board.
I must admit this is rather build on a budget but i ran rather well with it. :)
