After climbing to mid-Diamond with Temur Adventures, I started to get stuck, and the games with that deck were just taking too long. I wanted to find a way to end games faster.
Enter my take on Monowhite Lifegain Aggro (for the 2021 Rotation). No more Ajani's Pridemate? No problem.
The deck is designed to go fast, and go hard, and the best part is, though it's a very simple build, it's actually surprisingly versatile. You can go big, by pumping an individual creature with Heliod, the Sun-crowned or Light of Promise. Or you can go wide with Griffin Aerie or Leonin Warleader. No matter which way you go, you're looking at potential lethal on T4/T5.
It's very easy to curve out with the cards in this deck, and very easy to keep Heliod as a creature once you get a few double or triple white creatures on the board.
Throw your Light of Promise on Heliod and watch them scoop.
Obviously board wipes are a threat, but your mission is to end the game before that becomes a problem.
