Wipe the board, then let Phyrexians and dragons finish the job!

Introduction

This is a Rakdos midrange deck that is aimed at decimating aggro decks. It packs up immense amount of early removal and boardwipes, and several high-mana cost creatures to finish the job quickly.

Deck Design

The deck has been designed to cover several aspects of gameplay as follows:

Spot Removal

Disfigure can be combined with Cut Down and Brotherhood's End to kill big creatures.

Go for the Throat and Bitter Triumph can be used to kill Archfiend of the Dross if it's running out of counter.

Board Wipe

Brotherhood's End combined with Archfiend of the Dross can deal a hefty amount of damage to the opponent.

Hand Hate

There's no Deep-Cavern Bat as it dies to Brotherhood's End.

Binding Negotiation can be used to discard plotted creatures, such as Slickshot Show-Off.

• The deck is for the Standard format with Bloomburrow being the last legal set.
• The deck is probably Tier 1.5 or Tier 2 caliber.

Design

The deck's primary colors are black and red with equal importance. 

The mana base supports cards with 2 black mana symbols in their mana cost from mana value 4 and up with at least an 87.4 % chance when played on the curve. For black Phyrexian creatures the chance is 91.6 %.

The mana base supports cards with 2 red mana symbols in their mana cost from mana value 3 and up with at least an 85.1 % chance when played on the curve.

Strategy

You need two red mana for Brotherhood's End. Once you've got 2 red mana producing lands, you should concentrate on getting only black mana, since the overwhelming majority of the cards in the deck are black.
