added sideboard as ive been wanting to play b03 and i think this is my deck, this might be my favorite deck ive ever played!

 

this is my first take on the jace doomsday combo.

starting with 4x jace and doomsday since they are our combo pieces

4x overlord of the balemurk because he can grab either of our combo pieces from the gy for 2 mana, at worst he digs us 4 cards closer and maybe picks up a freebooter. also triggers fear of infinity to return to hand. over all probably the best card in the deck.

freebooter feels like an obvious choice, scry to dig, treasure to ramp, a blocker in early game. i was testing fear of lost teeth in this spot, but i feel like freebooter is better.

i went with fear of infinity for a few reasons. i didnt have 4 cut downs but i had 4 deadweight and it will kill a heartfire hero or scamp t1 and maybe t2. infinity then stuck out to me as a threath that has some game against aggro and control since it has lifelink and recursion.

dead weight is in here to kill hero, scamp or maybe a mana dork. it brings FOI back fom the gy

duress help stop our opponents game while protecting ours. can grab a pump spell from mono red, take counter spells from control or other important enchantments or artifacts

nowhere to run helps mostly against sheltered by ghosts. even if it cant kill that creature it helps take care of the ward cost so you can use withering torment later.

deduce is simple card draw. i have been testing sleight of hand and i think i might like it better because it digs the same amount of cards and puts stuff on the bottom of the library so if i need to i can put an extra jace or overlord on the bottom protecting if fom the exile effect and garunteeing an out in the bottom six if i am forced to play doom early.

withering torment gets rids of big threats and problematic enchantments

deadly coverup is a sweet board wipe that lets us hinder out opponets game plans by getting rid of key cards.  duress can influence descisions depending on revealed cards in hand 

 

the mana base  isnt perfect but i like it, i chose to try no non black sources and it seems to be working, gonna keep testing

gloomlake verge is often almost always a black source. i think ideally murky sewer was replaced with undercity sewer since it has a scry and is an island and swamp for verge, im on the fence about crafting them. since then can be used in other formats
