Hello fellow magic players!

I am fairly new in mtg and almost always plays arena. I know I don't have experience in evaluating decks, but I do want to start learning more about mtg and its mechanics. I also dont have experience in making a side board, for the mean time I will show case my B01 decks that i made.

So, for starters let me show you a deck, that I made, utilizing "Ayara, First of Locthwain". Ayar in it self is a very rewarding card if you play it on curve. It has Card draw potential, Consistent damage, and consistent life gain. Even from enetering the battlefield you already gained value! So what I thought is what synergises the best with the effects of ayara? Now Ill show you my thought process in determining what cards to pick:

1.The cat in the oven

This ones a no brainer, The combo of "Cauldron Familiar" and "Witch's Oven" will greatly synergize With Ayara making it a double trigger. I knew I wanted this combo here because It is alamost certain that you will deal 2 damage every turn to your oponent. The cat-oven combo also synergises great with "Midnight Reaper" Which will allow you to draw an extra card for every oven you have and also the life gain abilty of the cat cancels out the draw back of "Midnight Reaper"!

2.Low CMC creatures

I knew I wanted to utilize Ayara from the start so I choose low cmc creature so I can do just that
This includes:
-Cauldron Familiar: Refer to 1.
-Foulmire Knight- It has deathtouch and draw capability
-Knight of the Ebon Legion-One mana threat that can snowball when left uncheck and greatly combos with Ayara
-Order of Midnight-Ability to get back what you need from your graveyard and also a low cmc creature
-Orzhov Enforcer-  A double trigger with Ayara, creating another spirit when destroyed and has deathtouch
-Vampire of the Dire Moon- Just a great low cmc card that has deathtouch and lifelink

3.Removal, Threats, and Win Con

My idea for this deck is mainly drop low cmc creatures and deal damage every turn with the cat and oven combo. But that's easier said than done. So for every deck there should be another way to win. So here comes "Spawn of Mayhem"! It is a perfect combo with Ayara, most of the time you will cast it as a 3 cmc for the spectacle cost. Its big, it deals damage, what else could I say? It is a big threat if not handled quickly

Knight of the Ebon Legion, is also a great card it is a one drop, can be pumped, and a threat also when left uncheck. And lastly I include a copy of "Bloodthirsty Aerialist" because the greatly combos with the life gain abilities of ayara and  cat-Oven combo, after just a turn you can have a massive body creature because of ayara and it's life gain ability that the oponent need to handle

And for removal, the deck has low reoval cards in it, but I included "Murderous Rider" for its remova ability and a low cmc cost and it is also a creature! For other types removal, I do say include duress and other cards a such to be potent with other match up, but I do believe that doing so will lessen your creature count and will slow you down.

Castle Locthwain- Card draw

Conclusion
This is my first time explaining what cards I used in this deck, I find it very good in the meta right now. Its agro and it has late game capabilities (I'm not sure about this but base on experience). Lastly I do hope you enjoy Playing this deck. And please take easy on me on the grammar!
