Tired of getting matched against top tier decks, dominant and repetitive decks in the meta? It's okay if people have fun either janking or netdecking, but there's no need to blame them for their choice, eventhought, more diversity would be nice.

What if I told you, that you can actually break into their game in a disruptive way, disabling their synergies and answers, removing once and for all their staples. This deck turns the tide of the meta.

How this deck works?

It's mainly constituted by some of the top dimir rogues in standard, due their proven effiency, abilities, sinergies and low cost. Milling not only reduces the chance of the opponent to make use of their cards, but it gives you tactical information to know what are they playing, the possible cards they may still have and getting an idea of what to expect and definitely remove from their deck. Manabase: It actually has 24 lands, 8 of them are modal double-faced cards.

Rogues by themselves can standalone. But in order to use the staples of this deck as fast as you can, you need to gather intelligence, both of them can exile each nonland and copies from that card in hand, library and graveyard; both of them can have a peek of the whole opponent's library and hand!; at most, the only downside of their use, is that if the opponent had the targeted card in hand, they'll either create a 2/2 zombie token or draw a card for each card exiled this way, which is unlikely to happen and a minor flaw.

Test of Talentsimage it's pretty useful when it comes to counter instants and sorceries like burn spells, ultimatums, removals, and even other counterspells. For example: Dragon's ApproachimageEmergent UltimatumimageZenith FlareimageHeartless ActimageDoomskarimage, Cultivateimage, Plumb the Forgotten, among many more.

Necromentiaimage despite not being a counter, it can remove every nonland card, which Test of Talents can't (like planeswalkers, creatures, artifacts and enchantments) or actually can (anticipating by removing them from early game).

Varragoth, Bloodsky Sireimage Works as a tutor for his boast ability, if the odds of getting the stapples or another card were not the desired. So with his boast ability, you can get turn after turn the card you need. If you have Merfolk Windrobberimage in play, you can get it faster. Lurrus of the Dream Den , Call of the Death-Dwellerimage and Agadeem's Awakeningimage comes handy to never run out of juicy. Massacre Wurmimage works as a great removal of tokens and weak creatures. Ashiok, Nightmare Museimage can make use of the exiled cards with their ulti (switched to SB for 1 more necromentia copy). and Zareth San, the Tricksterimage , it's just for steal and annoy the opponent.

Strong against

Magecraft decks (witherbloom and Lorehold), Sultai/Temur ultimatums built around decks, control and combo, cycling, dimir mill, monoblack (Lurrus' auras and Tegrid 3/5 of the time), temur adventures, dimir rogues, Boros Winnota (3/4 of the time), among others.

Flaws

Monowhite lifegain and decks with mostly -or only- creature spells that goes aggro (RDW). Decks which mainly rely on creatures, enchantments and artifacts. Not recommendable at all if you barely know the current standard meta. It may be complicated due the odds of getting either Test of Talentsimage or Necromentiaimage. Or in other cases, if you get one or both of them, the opponent may not have or may not use a determinant card to target (i.e. sometimes they run like 1 or 2 copies, and when it's exiled, both copies were from graveyard; or may keep yor mana untapped in vain waiting for an interaction that never happened while wasting the opportunity to cast another spell instead).

Conclusion

Currently, it has a great perfomance, it's consistent and has been able to not only outstand the meta, but even mythic players. Up to now, it has only been proven in not ranked matches, but I'll try it on ranked, making my way to mythic. Up to now, it may be classified as a rank A deck but far from rank S.
