Historic - Izzet Demilich Spells v.2
Aggro Midrange
This is a deck (my first contribution to this page!) I somewhat constructed by myself taking some pieces of other similar decks and adjusting it according to my card pool. Probably it could be somewhat improved by adding better lands, since I don't have every dual land, but enough to make a playable Izzet deck. You also can replace Bonecrusher Giant
with Brazen Borrower
if you want to add some tempo mechanics, for example. Or Prismari Command
if you want to more spells to fuel Demilich.
Demilich
is a very solid card, but it's not a true win condition like Arclight Phoenix
. It's more like a midrange card, sticky and annoying to deal with, and it's best used to create pressure. Our true win conditions are Stormwing Entity and Sprite Dragon. Demilich is the icing on the cake, the card that help us to put even more pressure on our opponent by re-casting spells like Shock
and Pillar of Flame
, dealing direct damage and enhancing our creatures at the same time.

PD: I replaced the 4 Bonecrusher Giant with 4 Prismari Command, to give Demilich more fuel and a bit of ramp to the deck.
PD: since Brainstorm is suspended (and it's very likely it will banned soon), I replaced 4 Brainstorm
with 4 Warlord's Fury
. Also removed 1 Island and added 1 Mountain for mana consistency.
