A second sun deck. In essence i survive by gaining life until i find Approach of the Second Sun.
Then i try to scry/draw further so i can cast Approach of the Second Sun the 2nd turn after the first cast.
So far i works pretty consistently!
Karn helps out against some deck types but it's also a second win condition on it's own.
Angel of Grace is a emergency card and spices up the deck. I gives me at least one more turn, a good blocker and for sure unexpected.
As you can see in the MAYBEBOARD i testing a copy of Legion Angel. Maybe an extra Prison Realm for pesky Planeswalkers or a Karn, the Great Creator for more variety.
Counter/control decks and planeswalker decks are difficult to handle. Mono red, Aura and Shrine decks are too easy. This deck has as far as i know a more unique way of playing around Approach of the Second Sun, but it's above all fun to play. For Historic Bo3, the sideboard of artifacts can easily be sized down by half. I played around 30 games now and i used only half of it. Chaos Wand suprised me and won me the game each time when used.

Treasure Map may be slower, but has more synergie than Mind Stone. Also the more mana, the more i can cycle trough deck. Mazemind is in consideration...
Prison Realm helps me against Planeswalker decks and it fits well cause of the scry effect.

A lot of changes, for the best. I noticed some weaknesses entering diamond. I needed less original cards, more sweepers like planar cleansing. Cast out is the best choice, most versatile comparing with banishing light is still have cycling effect.
Approach imo cannot be better than this if used in mono white deck....
