The Deck

Thanks to the commander, Jon Irenicus, Shattered One, we can give our opponents creatures and make them bigger via the +1/+1 counters. Thanks to Goad, they'll have to attack someone other than you... And they're unable to sacrifice them. In other words, they're stuck with them, and it's everyone else's problem. So, let's go over what we're giving away. Spoiler alert: they're pretty unpleasant.

Creature Donations

Not only will we give opponents things to attack each other, but they're also going to have some heavy downsides. For example, Archfiend of the Dross is not only a massive threat but will straight up cause an opponent to lose the game in four turns. Many other creatures will cause them to sacrifice their other permanents, lock them out spells, or drain their life.

Things like Abhorrent Overlord will actually generate you value when you cast them and then be a pain for opponents once they have them. This allows us to make use of some of the awkward creatures for ourselves as well.

Cards like Wrong Turn and The Trickster-God's Heist can also help give these things away, even when Jon Irenicus isn't in play. And we also have extra ways of goading opposing creatures such as Bloodthirsty Blade and Parasitic Impetus.

Negating Damage And Gaining Advantage

Since we'll be forcing players to attack one another, there are also a number of cards that generate value for us when we do. Some examples of this are Curse of Verbosity and Dissipation Field, which will incentivize people to send attacks elsewhere, even when they are able to attack you.

Card Draw and Removal

Card draw and removal are important for this deck because you've got to deal with threats effectively and keep the game plan on track, as many of your creatures are awkward by themselves. Things like Aetherize are a nice reset button if things get out of hand, and you'll find plenty of spot removal and counterspells, too.
